The 2017 edition of the Fish River Canoe Marathon gets underway on Friday 6 October. The 36th edition of the Fish doubles as the South African K2 River Marathon Championships.

1 – The number of K4 craft entered into the 2017 Fish

2 – The number of paddlers poised to become Kingfishers for completing 30 races – Glenn Hilliar,Martin Grotepass
