Do you want to accelerate the success of your small business? Would you benefit from a two-year programme of professional business development support? Does your business have significant potential to grow and make a positive contribution to the economy? The SAB Foundation invites applications from viable, black-owned businesses that wish to be considered for the 2018 Tholoana Enterprise Programme.

More than 100 emerging entrepreneurs in all nine provinces have had their success accelerated since this innovative business support programme, which is implemented by business growth professionals Fetola, began in 2015.

“We are looking for the best of the best to apply for the 2018 Tholoana Programme,” said Bridgit Evans of the SAB Foundation. “We want to support the growth of South Africa’s most exceptional entrepreneurs, those people who are passionate and determined to succeed,” she adds.

Sixty small business owners are sought to take their businesses to the next level. Applications are particularly invited from businesses that work in new and growing sectors such as export, manufacturing, food processing, water, energy and waste management. Women, youth and entrepreneurs with disability are also strongly encouraged to apply. If your business has been in operation for at least six months and less than five years, you may be eligible for consideration.

If selected, participants have access to two years of practical support including master mentors, applied business-skills workshops, access to markets, brand building and investment-readiness support. High growth, positive job creation and long-term improvement in business success rates are just some of the benefits.

Bukelwa Ngoqo, founder of Sunkissed Fashion at East London Airport., who has had her turnover grow almost 250% since she joined Tholoana in 2016, speaks enthusiastically about the programme.

“The Tholoana team has enabled us to put our best foot forward, providing support in conceptualising ideas and channelling our focus,” she said, “Their backing gives us the freedom to be bold, knowing that expert support is only a phone call, email or whatsapp away!”

Applications close on 30 November 2017. Email SAB@fetola.co.za or call 080 0611 095 (toll-free) for more information. Follow this link to apply: www.sabentrepreneurship.co.za
