Saturday’s Graeme Rugby Day is just around the corner and shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated yet. Three Grahamstown coaches have tough challenges ahead of them, but all are confident and keenly awaiting their opportunities to shine.

Bruised Stransky and Mclean set for Zuurberg race

Despite suffering broken bones in two separate incidents, Springbok legend Joel Stransky and former professional cyclist Andrew Mclean are still set to take part in the PwC Great Zuurberg Trek mountain bike race outside Port Elizabeth in May.
 

FNB Rhodes second last on log

FNB Rhodes have been awarded five points after Cape Peninsula University of Technology (FNB CPUT) were found to have fielded ineligible players in their Varsity Shield match in Grahamstown in February.

Hundreds run for a good cause

The annual Makana Brick 8km Nite Race attracted over 700 participants, with proceeds  going to Grahamstown Hospice.
