EP lose final Cricket Week match

Eastern Province lost their final match of the Coca-Cola Khaya Majola Cricket Week to KwaZulu-Natal by five wickets.

Eastern Province batted first and made 98 runs. KwaZulu-Natal made 99 runs with the loss of five wickets, on the final day of the Cricket Week on Sunday (20 December).

Second win for EP U19

Eastern Province won their second match of the Coca-Cola Khaya Majola U19 cricket week when they beat Free State by 49 runs. Eastern Province batted first and made 208/8. Free State were bowled out for 159 runs.

Gaunteng and Western Province were the only unbeaten sides going into the last day of the annual Coca-Cola Khaya Majola Week.

A win and a loss for EP U19, Day 3

Eastern Province's captain, Anthony Dakin, became the first player ever in the history of the Coca-Cola Khaya Majola Week to score a century in a Twenty/20-match.

Dakin scored an unbeaten 107 runs from 74 deliveries on the main oval at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University against Northern Cape to secure his place in the history of the tournament.
