The annual K-Day festivities came to a climax on Saturday 14 June and did not disappoint. Thousands of past parents and pupils of Grahamstown local schools made their way to Kingswood to enjoy the day’s events.
On a blustery Saturday 14 June, Graeme College hosted Union High School from Graaff-Reinet on Saturday 14 June. In the first team encounter, Union High dominated possession for the first twenty minutes as the Graeme side struggled to get going.
Six athletes from Grahamstown completed the gruelling Comrades Marathon on Sunday. This year’s race was a ‘down’ run, starting in Pietermaritzburg and finishing in Durban, covering a distance of 89,28km.
Kingswood met Dale on Saturday 31 May in a hotly contested derby fixture. Despite the final score of 40-23 to Dale, the majority of the game was closely contested, with both sides creating multiple opportunities to score.
