Economic recession effects at Fest



The declining economic state of the world could potentially have had a significantly negative effect on the National Arts Festival this year, but traders, performers and organisers of the event have not felt the economic pinch. This year’s National Arts Festival has seen an even greater pool of traders and a growth of visitors, as well as unprecedented ticket sales. Ticket sales this year have gone over the 90 000 mark, which is more than any previous year. Litha Mpondwana reports for Cue Radio.
