These two DSG girls Sarah Blunden and Yse Chabanel, and St Andrew’s College boy, Adam Rosenthal (below) received their Bronze Standard Awards from the President's Award for Youth Empowerment programme. HAPPY HIKERS... The Nombulelo Hiking Club, consisting of about 40 kids invited Mary Waters Secondary (about 20 learners) to hike from the Grey Dam to the toposcope and back. Learners walked from their respective schools to the Grey Dam in order to start training for the year. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS... The St Andrew’s Prep School Grade 4-7 pupils enjoyed the traditional beginning of year picnic at Grey Dam recently. There was fudge being made in groups over open fi res, swimming in the dam and a picnic lunch to enjoy. It was a great start to the school year and a way for new, as well as old boys and staff to get to know one another. This is the winning group in the fudge making competition. Photo: Supplied
