Wonderful to see physical signs of the new Municipal Manager in place ... road side gutters being cleaned out ... street lighting being seen to ... water leaks being attended to more quickly! That's the way! Martin

Was at Duna Library on the 7th of May, I usually go there on Tuesdays and Fridays for the Grocotts paper and when I asked the female librarian manager for todays paper she said the papers haven't yet arrived. (NB: It was at 16:12). So my question to you is why was the paper late, because most of us depend on libraries for Newspapers.

I drove past an official Makana Municipality car today who casually threw a full bag of rubbish out their window and into Fitzroy street. A few weeks ago another official car narrowly missed hitting my boyfriend on his run, as they sped through the suburbs at a ridiculous rate. How dare they pretend to care about this municipality when they so blatantly disrespect it.

In the Grocott Mail Friday, 12 April 2013 on page number 3, it read as follows "We need Naidoo". Who are we kidding. It is time to realy say that we need each other in building a better Grahamstown. I think that it is time to think and do what needs to be done in Grahamstown. Let us become a united community.

What is going on with our MUNICIPALITY? Sunday I witnessed a family on their way to CHURCH tip toeing through toilet paper , tampons, raw sewrage, and this being a policeman. DO SOMETHING AT DEVILLIERS CLOSE OR HAVE SUNDAY LUNCH WITH A BUCKET OF SH*T. This has just become SERIOUS!
