People of Khoisan descent must unite. The ANC and DA are using you to further the interests of their people. These parties don't care for you. They only want your votes. Punish them in 2014.

60-year-old William Kutsi, of Emaxhekwazini in Joza Location, expresses his unhappiness about the lack of cleanliness and the neglect of the environment by the local authorities. South Africa is into its 16th year of its ‘democratic’ ruling since the taking over of former president Nelson Mandela from F W de Klerk in April of 1994. After years and years of mistreatment by the former government, the simple is still forbidden of its freedom and rights. Kutsi cries “It has been more than a decade of empty promises without any action”. "The Municipality is always over-looking our needs as if we are not Grahamstown citizens anymore”. The elderly Kutsi, who is also an asthma patient, finds it hard to improve his health in such sickening conditions. The residents’ request of a mobile garbage container has never been answered since. Kutsi and the rest of the Emaxhekwazini residents are pleading to the Government for assistance. Change comes not only through government positions but by the improvement of people’s lives. |
