TV thieves target Grocott's Mail

In the early hours of Sunday 13 September, a front window of the Grocott's Mail building was smashed and a plasma television set was stolen.

"The television was set up as a public viewing area for Grahamstown so that people could watch sport and news. Unfortunately, someone decided not to share," said Grocott's Mail general manager, Louise Vale.

A case of theft has been opened with the police and Vale has appealed to anyone who may have information about the incident to come forward. "They haven't stolen from us but from the Grahamstown community," she added.
