AlgoaFM donated R100 000 to the Grahamstown District Relief Association (Gadra) after the station won R500 000 in the Vodacom Radio Challenge. The radio station's windfall came after their online video of pop singer Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' received over the most votes - beating nearest rival Jacaranda FM by 48%.
