For nearly thirty years, Sindiwe Magona has been authoring the lives of South Africans from a broad range of ethnic and economic backgrounds. Her probing and poignant stories, poems, articles, and plays examine the ever- thorny challenges within the apartheid and post-apartheid world. English performance of Mother to Mother and Post-performance discussion on the 20th of February 2016. 10:00-11:30.Tickets are available in office at the Monument on the 1st floor and at the venue on the day. Theatre first for Grahamstown

One of South Africa's most widely acclaimed plays - "Mother to Mother" - is being staged this week as part of the Puku Story Festival and being peformed for the first time ever in isiXhosa.
