School girls trek from Namibia for charity

The physical and mental durability of fifteen Diocesan School for Girls pupils was recently put to the test in the school's ‘Fish-2-Fish Challenge’. The girls’ efforts were all for a good cause though, and raised R100 000 for a local school in need. Nick Hedley reports.

My name is Ros Limbo, a 19 year old Rhodes Student who has been invited to attend the 5th World Youth Conference in Turkye this July. As a BCom student it came as a shock that my idea was both considered and accepted as an I dea that could positively affect the world. However this great priviledge relises on me been able to buy my own ticket as well as pay for my own visa.
