Over two eventful days of teams navigated turbulent waters, first place went to Varsity College. Rhodes University proved to be worthy competitors in this year’s K2 event, finishing on the podium in third, just behind the University of Cape Town. The school caters for socially marginalised, impoverished and abused children who are in need of a stable and nurturing environment.
